Morgan’s and Phillip’s™ was founded in 2007 with the idea to create clothing that reflected the history of not only America but the unique passion Americans have for all things on wheels.

Founder and designer Michael Satterfield had bought his first car two years before he could legally drive and hung on the every word as his father and his friends would talk about the golden age of motorsports. Growing up not far from Riverside International Raceway and Ontario Motor Speedway Michael’s father  had been bit by the motorsports bug early on. Dean Satterfield a designer, who worked with the likes of Hooker Headers and the National Sand Drag Association, was always bringing home cool cars. Growing up in Shaker Equipped Mach 1’s and SEMA show vehicles guaranteed that Michael would grow up to be a gear-head. From that first 1954 Ford Crestline a nearly never ending stream of cars, bikes, and motorized oddities would be inhabiting the Satterfield driveway and garages.

Our first shirts were simple, retro, and made in California. People began to take notice and M&P™ expanded the line of designs launching a web store in 2008, with the hopes that the automotive, motorcycle, and fashion public would embrace the brand. The response was great and the company had to ramp up production to meet the demand, investing in new equipment, and converting the old barn on the family farm to a print shop and warehouse. Expanding on the t-shirts, M&P™ decided to continue to make the clothes they liked, wanted, but could not find.

Our newest products include American Made Jeans, produced in limited quantities maintaining a high level of quality in the classic American fits and colors. As we have grown and expanded our dealer network over the last few years we have been committed to keeping our apparel exclusive, affordable, and only available in select retailers worldwide.

In 2010 M&P™ collaborated with Carroll Shelby Licensing to create a line of Shelby inspired apparel, Officially Licensed and made to the same high standards as the entire M&P™ line up. This has resulted in M&P™ becoming a leading supplier in the industry of Shelby licensed apparel. As with the rest of our line, the emphasis is on quality and timeless style, because it just doesn’t get any cooler than that.  

The M&P™ design studio is located just off Route 66 in Alta Loma, CA, on race weekends you can hear Auto Club Speedway. The designers draw on over 55 years of combined Automotive, Motorcycle, and design experience. Production of our garments is done at the family farm where garments are printed, tagged, and finished in the barn, built in 1903 it is one of the oldest buildings in the area.

Currently M&P does not have a showroom or public facilities; however, the team is currently looking for a location to launch a retail showroom and distribution center.
