Here are ten things you probably didn't know about McQueen courtesy of someone who knew him best: Michael Munn, author of revelatory new biography Steve McQueen: Living On The Edge you can get yours for about $24.00 on Amazon.com.

  • He paid for sex... with cake

McQueen lost his virginity at the age of 13 when his gang took him to a local whore, 15-year-old ...

By Michael Satterfield Well it still does not look like much, but today we scored the hood we have been looking for (at a reasonable price) for 3 months. We also picked up the roll bar at the local Pick-A-Part. While the point of this project is to build a cool vintage racer for as little as possible, in a normal home garage, with normal tools, there are a few tips you can pick up, even if you are building a $100,000 classic. We had picked up the fenders via Craigslist for $40 bucks a few months back, but the hood was proving to be elusive. We found a number of them on eBay for around 100 bucks, but the shipping would cost $100-200 as most of them were back east. On Craigslist the crack-pipe has been going around again as everyone ...

Morgan's & Phillip's has announced its expanded range of vintage inspired Shelby Apparel, and retro motorcycle apparel. Unlike most apparel companies M&P strives for authenticity in every design, basing its artwork on real people, places, and events. Working with automotive icons like Carroll Shelby, Barris Kustom City, and many others M&P brings reality back to apparel. "So much of what is on the market is made by fashion companies that don't take the time to learn about the industry they are trying to reflect, we started doing vintage automotive and motorcycle apparel in 2007, now it is the flavor of the week. Most of our competitors just toss "Supercharged" or "Racing" on a tee but the ...

As the year starts to wind down, there are still a few new models to come from TAG Heuer, including this pair of McQueen Monaco’s. Just as earlier this year, TAG announced Silver and Orange Monaco twins (one in the classic Monaco case and the other a Monaco 24), this time we have two Blue editions named after the man who has become the face of the TAG Heuer Monaco- Steve McQueen These watches are interesting not just because of their designs, but also because they are the first of a new range of watches that you will only be able to buy from TAG Heuer Boutiques. In addition to a reissue of the original Heuer Monaco like McQueen wore in the film LeMans (Above) Tag Heuer has released two modern takes on the McQueen Monaco. See photos ...

1958 Berkley Roadster Found in the Southern California Mountains for $600

Everyone in the car hobby is always looking for that rare"barn find" but if you know how to look they are far more common then you may think. Over the years I have found dozens of ultra rare cars, from a forgotten Boss 302, to classic Austin Healey's with racing history and everything in between. There are always stories about car hunters, even some T.V. shows have popped up that make it seem like finding an old car is a magical gift. To make the show or story interesting there is always a cloud of mystery to how they find these diamonds in the rough, and they pretend that these cars are so few and far between that it has to be a full time job. ...
